Yeah, 3" isnt necessary and you may lose some torque. It will also be quite loud if you dont stay catted and use a big resonator.

For the LNF guys living in metro Atlanta/north Georgia - I am looking for a good LNF mechanic to do some engine work on my LNF which resides in a race car. Who would you recommend?

06 cobalt

having trouble finding a belt that works on this 2.4 with a supercharger. I ordered the one listed on becks supercharged build walk through. I am wondering about the idler pulley that I have.
the one listed on becks shows the website not there. this car was already built when we bought it.
need some advice.
thanks

No sure if this is the right area to post this, if not, delete and please direct me to where i can post.

I'm getting a newer engine, my mechanic said to upgrade to a 2.2 supercharged instead of a 2.0 supercharged, my question is... do 2.2 supercharged engines exist or would i have to modify it for a supercharger?
He is swearing he has put in a 2.2 supercharged engine in a cobalt but i can't for the life of me find one already equipped with a supercharger...

Basically do 2.2 supercharged engines exist?

It looks like you have an 06 SS/SC. Stay with the 2.0L LSJ engine. It's a stronger engine and known to make more power. Dropping in a 2.2L engine would be a big project. May be a touch harder to find an LSJ but it's worth it.
