Help Installing Lambo Hinges

K, got them on there.
Open and Shut fine.
How the hell do you get the Rocker Guard back on?
Hinge is in the way where the rocker guard indents.
Can't get the thing back on no way no how.

No.

Easy Fix: Remove lambo hinges. Re-install stock hinges.

Yeah, staring to be eww.

Don't know why these things don't fit better.

I get the need to cut the inside of the fender, since that's where the henge is,

But I'm not getting why they couldn't make it so the rocker guard fits..

What'd everyone else do here?

Well it's all together and I have a rockgard that won't go on straight, so picture a rockgaurd that has something bushing on the inside of it so it won't site properly.
Not much to look at honestly. It's altogether and just have the hinge pushing on the inside of the rocker guard so it won't fit in there properly.

Simple answer seems to be to notch the rocker guard. Is that not possible?
Or grind what's interfering a bit?

If I "notch the rocker guard I end up with a hole in it and then the water, etc, will come of the wheel and just go right in the fender/door.

Can't grind the henge.

SO I'm really confused as to what other did here.

If you would have researched this project prior to starting this you would have noticed you will have to either A.) notch the inner fender lining out to accomodate the larger hinge or B.) remove inner fender lining totally

The hinge is much larger so it sticks out into the inside of the fender.

Not trying to be an ass but try and notch it out as close as u can get.

There wont be that much debri/ water that will get in there.

ppl with body kits dont run inner fender lingings bc tey dont match up to the aftermarket kit

If you have a cobalt then you have pics. The rocker guard has a lambo door hinge behind it that you can't see, do to the fact that its behind it, so it won't set in place exactly so it will built up properly.

I looks like a Cobalt with a rocker guard that wit properly.

Looking for someone that has installed Vertical Door hinges here to find out what exactly they did when they did theirs.
