Offset? Lug pattern?
30mm and 5x112 are the rims
If they are 5 lug they are probably 5x114 and your cobalt is 5x110
So it will need inserts?
You would need the hub conversion to run them if the offset is right for the 18x9 to work on the car. No one can give you an honest answer, you just gotta try it. If you like them you'll make them fit
5x112 will be/should be close enough to try on your car. Try it
Alright for sure thanks ill post a pic if they end up good.
Gonna have to stretch some tires on them tho if they somehow work
You think some 225/40 would do?
I didnt know they made a 2008 cobalt ss/sc....
Yea haha it's a 2008 Cobalt Sport Coupe
sc=sport coupe....obviously josh hahahaha
5x112 will not work |
5x112 may slide on. but do not use it. only use the bolt pattern the studs are in. if you want something different then redrill. the center of your studs are on a 110mm circle. the wheels are on a 112mm. when you tighten down the lugs it will not pull the wheel directly on to the hub and the lugs trying to center themselves in the wheel bores will put enough stress on the studs to possibly cause a failure
FYI 5x112 is really really close. My buddy StevesBlack06 rims were both 5x110 and 5x112 and both worked. Granted 5x112 fit tight, they fit.
If they fit then re drill your 5x110 hubs to 5x112
So I should out in some inserts then right?
but to answer your question. a 235/40/18 on an 18x9 +30 offset will only stick out half an inch more than a 235/40/18 on a stock 18x7 +42
Ohh alright for sure thanks guys.
Or re drill wheels to 5x110 if possible(and it's easier)
