how to tell if i have aftermarket headers

I bought my cobalt off a kid a few months ago and he said he thought it had aftermarket headers. Buying new ones was on my list before he said that so before I spend money buying them I would like to check and find out. My only issue is i'm not really sure what i'm looking for because i'm not mechanically inclined what so ever.
Thank you.

They would be at the very back behind the engine. They would be shiny and very circular and stock ones would be more like an oval from each exhaust port.

Take a picture behind the engine, between the cabin and engine is where the headers are. Then post it up on here

generally the lack of a heatshield over the 'headers' ( ) is a good sign they have gone aftermarket. just post pics that way we can also probably tell you what brand header you have.

He bought it with everything already installed. He's not even sure what size injectors so i need to find that out as well. The only thing he did was have a new motor put in because he blew the original one.

I could but the only way for us to tell you is a picture like mentioned above. It very well could have a header on it, it's been around for a while now.

definately stock header/downpipe. probably a stock catback as well. kinda hard to tell based on the last 2 pics (too dark for my eyes)

post a few pics of the engine bay. the fuel rail is right behind the supercharger, try to get a shot of the injectors from between the fuel rail and valve cover.

also the supercharger pulley

hmm you know what based on your last pic, hard to tell but what cobalt do you have? looks like a 2.4 'ss' rear bumper perhaps?

That's a stock exhaust (exhaust manifold, downpipe, catback) with some half assed muffler welded on.

It didn't, lol.

Unless u unbolt the downpipe and take a look inside of the manifold for the smooth ports.

Nope, all they did was take the stock manifolds and extrude hone them.

It's a loud catback. I wouldn't run that on my car.

ZZP has a nice catback for our cars.

I was actually wanting the 2.5 zzp exhaust but it's out of stock. They have the 3" stainless if i did that I would go muffler and resonator. Would that still be really loud? I was also thinking the gmpp 2.5 but i can't find it anywhere online.
