IDD VIII - Maximum Traction, No Frills
Due to popular demand, we have worked out a potential date with Norwalk Raceway Park of Friday, November 3, 2006. No weekend dates are left until 2007, and this is the last remaining Friday.
This would be a no frills private track rental, with the traction you've come to expect at IDD events. :icon_twis
There will be no race classes, no bracket race and no awards - just a test and tune session.
Our cost is ~ $4,000 to do this right. By doing it right I'm talking about Norwalk's famous 660' wall to wall VHT and dance floor rosin mixture every two hours. We will be charging $50 per racer, nothing for spectators, and no refunds would be given.
We would need 80 cars signed up in order to break even. If we aren't able to get that many registrants within a week or two, we'd just refund everyone's money.
Everyone will be welcome to attend, and I know this will be a great time for all. Who's in? Please post in the following thread if you feel there's a high probabability of racing there, so we can try to determine if the 80 racer requirement is realistic:

Guys, DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS! Norwalk is the best track I've raced at, and that's where my personal best was! Plus, it's late in the year, so it will be cool! We could see several personal bests, and several 12 second cobalts this time!
TTT, guys, jump on this! Trust me, this will be the best track you've raced at. I got my PB here back in April, and I've yet to match it at any track since then, with alot more mods!

They've got another thread on 3800pro.com, I think we're up to ~60people. I think it's still on as far as I know.
