I recently purchased a 2009 Cobalt SS wrecked no title runs perfect and currently in search of a donar body preferably an SS body but we cant get that lucky so If I went cheap with an Ls body can anyone tell me if there is anything different between an LS and SS body as far as mounting brackets, etc??

If I'm not mistaken and you are trying to put the SS drivetrain in, I believe you have to swap the whole wiring harness. From what I've heard it's quite a big job. Sway bars, control arms(ball joints) steering knuckles, hubs,I believe are all different SS to base cobalt also.

Have a complete ss with only bumper damage all I need to know is if all that has to come off the ss is just pretty much plug and play with the Ls body

well, yes, the body is the same. if your going to start with an ls/lt donor car your best bet is going to be to gut it down to nothing but the sheet metal, and then swap everything from the ss onto it.
