During BF sales I bought map sensors (which have the o rings on them already) and harnesses from ZZP. deal was too good figured I could sell them if I didn't need them. Now I need the code to unlock the tune. Aka the most expensive part of the package. Then I gotta take it to the dealer and pay them crooks $100/hr to punch numbers and click buttons. But cheap fast reliable pick two. I pick fast(ish) and reliable and so it's not cheap.

yea you needed the full kit. its the way gm works for their upgrades, you gotta buy the whole kit to get the tune, and most of the time its still a fight with the dealer to do the reflash cause they dont understand it.
you may as well just get the zzp pcm. would make more power anyways

As for the ZZP pcm it's a canned tune and it's my only car. Unfortunately it's not my race car. I drive it everywhere. Playing it safe for sure.

Getting my local shop to tune it will be $605 plus tax. For $721 I'd have GMS1 which means added reliability, less risk of my motor going kaboom, and no need to go retune every time the temperature changes drastically. In PA it gets anywhere from 0°F to 100°F.

You do not need retunes when weather changes unless you are running a speed density tune, which you arent
find a reputable tuner and tell them you want a super safe, conservative tune. Someone like Km043 or Ecaulk. Dont go to James rakes.
