LED headlights

Has anyone tried led headlight bulbs? I have the gen 2 projectors and have been considering trying led's.

I've heard they're alright in projectors but aftermarket LED's aren't great yet. They're getting better.

Light is bright and white but doesn't travel as far.

Koito BiLEDs are the ****, but good luck getting your hands on a set of those, plus they require a retrofit to make them work with a cobalt.

I dumped mine and went straight off road lights or bulbs I should say. I have 100 watt low beam and 120 watt high beams that are way brighter then any LED or bulbs and are like $8bucks a piece from summit racing. They are considered off road due to the brightness they produce. Under the normal section you will only find street legal brightness but off road is where it gets fun.

I was thinking more for longevity than brightness. I'llhave to look into off-road bulbs. They should have good durability and the extra brightness will be a bonus.

Again led bulbs are bright but the light doesn't travel far. They also wash out everything right in front of you.

I figured as much. That's why I asked. Those led light bars annoy me as well. Thanks for the input.
