Have you noticed, they cant keep that left rear tire down on the ground!!!!..
Goes to tell you... They were huuuaaallliiinnggg some butt around that track..
Hmm.. Speaking of which, anyone catch the Daytona 500... Most of the cars were Chevy..
Dale Jr. almost had it!!... But he sure gave a show towards the end of the race!

The reason they can't keep the outside rear tire on the ground while cornering is that those little SCCA or Grand Am race cars or w/e use such extremely high spring rates so they corner flat but there is almost no travel. IE, a street car probably uses between a 250 and 450 lbs/in spring rate, while a race car can use somewhere around 1000 if the engineers deem it necessary. It is just how much it compresses & doesn't compress.
