Are the OEM 10 spoke SS wheels painted or powder coated? Should get mine in this week and will be reconditioning them myself. There are some really nice powder coat colors that would be really close but OEM paint would be easier and get into the tough spots better.

Theyre painted. Ive paint wheels and powder coated them on my cobalt. The paint looked like hell after about a year, my powder coated wheels looked as good as the day i got them back 3 years later (i sold that car)

Mine were powder coated gloss black just for info sake

When you painted them, did you use a catalyst paint with clear cote?

I had mine powder coated and cleared. I would recommend this.

Not sure what that means, but my buddy is a painter at a local body shop and he needed my paint code to match color and he cleared them as well, them just got full of rock chips and peeled.
