1 - 3 tanks of gas will be ok IF you dont drive it hard.

You should always put in a min. of 91(93 in some locations).

i know that people are gonna jump me for this but all that a higher octane does for you is burn slower and helps with predetination. if you are a stock ss/sc you'll be fine. just don't get on it. dirve like a grandma with a handycap plate. when i first got my car the dealership took me to the gas station and put a full tank in it for me. i didn't think about it until he was almost done he was putting in 87 octane. i asked him what the hell he was doing and he said that is what he always put in the ss/sc's. i told him he was a retard and took him back to the dealership and then talked to the service department and they said that i would be fine as long as i didn't drive it hard. long story short that was the only time my car has had less than 93 and it did fine.

but just to clearify things.... i wouldn't do it for an extended period of time. and i do agree with an0malous.

Expensive ya?

But you gotta figure, assuming your on empty...your only spending roughly $3.33 more per tank.

Figuring that our cars have an 11 gal. gas tank. and gas is 30˘ more...

$3.33 isnt ****.

its .20 more, when you fill up its ususally around 10-11 gallons if you wait for the fuel light, so that comes to a grand total of $2 maybe $2.25 per fill up...

True didn't think of it like that.

Its only like an extra regular gallon of gas and when i switch from my current truck to a ss/sc its like I'll be getting 2-3 extra gallons anyways.

So it'll still be cheaper cash to miles.

haha def dont put 87 in only premium if you run 87. your car will pull timing, spark knock like a mother******. trust me when i first got my car i ran 87 because the dealer didnt tell me to run premium.
and if you cant afford premium then you prolly cant afford 87 becasue premium is only another .30$ a gallon so with your 12 gallon tank itll be a whole 3.60$ more everytime you fill it.

have it tuned to run regular

it's perfectly fine to throw in a mix every now and then if you drive it slow, but on every scheduled fill up? no

I'll always run premium
