Okay so this summer i went out and bought a polaris slingshot, it has a 2.4 ecotec with stock exhaust and it sounds amazing clean with no bees nest sounds haha i love it. on the flip side i own a chevy cobalt with a 2.4 zzp s/c kit zzp headers and all the cooling mods ect everything is done but the exhaust I have 3" dp w/ no cat or res then down to the 2.5" exit then to either a magnaflow or the stock both have flanges. either way my chevy is quick but sounds like complete **** what should i add or change to get my 2.4 s/c sounding good like the slingshot?

I think the cause of our car's rasp is the open collector on the header, that both ZZP and OTTP go with. Because it's open, it causes a lot of turbulence as the primaries terminate into the collector.
