prosport gauges

Is anyone running the prosport gauges I'm thinking about but the evo style from them

Omiotek 09-01-2014 02:53 AM

They are ok at best. They are cheap fir a reason.

bnutz 09-01-2014 09:00 AM

Really

Omiotek 09-01-2014 10:23 PM

Yeah really. Just because they look cool doesn't mean they are awesome. Pro sports biggest downfall is their senders. Buy a quality gauge such as autometet aem or defi

Those are very bland for my taste what about glowshift?

Sounds more like they are too expensive for your taste.

Glowshift suck just as hard.
Any cheap tinter gauge sucks for viewing and these $35 specials are crap for reliability.

You want tinted and nice, buy some Defi.

bnutz 09-02-2014 08:37 AM

Ok yea I'm like the style of the defi one I didn't look at this early and I'm not to worried about price I got about a couple hundred to spend on them in just looking for a little taste and the defi looks really good

blueLNFftw 09-02-2014 08:39 AM

Good.
Don't buy the knock offs.

bnutz 09-02-2014 09:17 AM

Ha the only thing is that don't have a wide band I would like everything to match its a must for me its just they way I am and it sucks

user 72239 09-02-2014 10:10 AM

I ran the EVO one for awhile

Do not get the red one. You cannot see in the daylight cause the glare is so bad.

I am using the Premium now.

Oh and its just as accurate as my Stock boost gauge was. I tested both.

bnutz 09-02-2014 11:55 AM

Ohhh thanks

Glow shifts are pieces of shit. Even worse then pro sports. pro sports work but at the end of the day their life a lot of times is short lived. Read up on the Subaru forums as pro sports are commonly used abd tossed out there. Get what you like because clearly good brands can't be good because of apperence. Accuracy is key with gauges. If you want them for looks get the cheapest good looking gauges you can buy and be happy. If you want correct gauges buy the good stuff and be done.

Pro sports, electrical gauges with senders that aren't water proof, recommended to mount them in the cabin, that should be all you need to know about their quality. I'm rocking 3 Defi gauges (Oil Pressure, EGT and Boost) love them, also have an Innovative Wideband and an Aeroforce interceptor. By no means cheap but you have to pay for quality, nothing is an exception. I'd also stay away from Autometer.

Like I said in not worried about money in very ocd everything have to match im only get a boost gauge and a wide band I have the aeroforce gauge its tucked in the trunk relese button because I knew that nothing would match it so its outbid site its just my ocd so is there any gauges that would match the defi boost gauge that's my question

andrewcarr1993 09-03-2014 02:53 PM

I had the same problem so I got all blue gauges, defi's are in the pillar and the aeroforce and wideband are in the cluster.
