What rotors do you recommend?

I have a 2006 Cobalt SS Supercharged. I would like to know what front rotors are recommended? From what I have read dimpled rotors are best?

Post some links to great deals, maybe from our supporting vendors?

Thanks!

Mine is running slotted that the previous owner used - maintenance log shows them as "E-Line" - they seem ok, but due to sorting out other suspension stuff I have not pushed them. I have never liked the idea of the drilled rotors after seeing more than a few start to crack from the holes. I am pretty sure the quality of the rotor is going to make a huge difference if that is an issue, but its a personal issue with that style of heat/gas dissipation.

dimpled are better than drilled. cross drilled rotors will crack under high heat. dimpled and slotted dont tend to crack as easily. i ran a set of dimpled/slotted rotors on my car for years without an issue. they do little for performance though.

biggest thing is to get a quality rotor, economy rotors are terrible if you do anything more than normal driving.

Same, used dimpled and slotted. They are good for me.
Also used r1 slotted, felt better.
I ran shitty powerstop rear brake kit. Those are so noisy.... Going back to all oem on the rear.

I have gotten lucky with the e-line drilled rotors so far and I'm on them pretty hard at the strip. So far they look great, but I also don't put lots of miles on the car. If I was going to road course it I would run stock ones.
