Supercharge anything?

Supercharge anything?
So I'm thinking of selling my 06 sc and getting a g8 gt. I have another complete SS that I bought for parts with a messed up cylinder #4 as well. My question is, being that I have a complete car, I could in theory swap everything over to an NA cobalt, hhr, g5 etc., if I rebuilt the lsj? I know that I can supercharge the stock engines in any of those vehicles as well but I was curious about the ability to swap the lsj since it has piston squirters, oil cooler, forged crank/rods, etc. Again, I have a whole other complete parts car so I would have anything that I need. I haven't researched enough to see the pros and cons of any option, this is just a general idea. I was trying to read up on the 2.4 le5 internals but the link on here is broken and the couple links on the internet weren't that specific. Did it also have a forged crank/rods or anything else particular to the lsj?
Yes I know that even thinking about this means I should probably just keep my cobalt but I'm not really trying to maintain 4 vehicles (my truck, hopefully a G8, and my wife's car). I find myself struggling with time to mess with what I have now. This is more of a backup for if I really just hate driving an auto everyday. I also always liked the idea of having a 4 door sc balt or hhr so it could be a project to tinker on whenever.
Thanks for any help.

Dropping an LSJ into a LE5 car isn't as cut and dry as you would think. You'd be much better off just slapping a blower onto the stock engine. I believe it was 06/07 that the LE5 got the better internals.
IMO, since you already have an LSJ, I'd just hang onto it, sell or part out the parts car, and put that cash towards a G8. Selling your LSJ to start another project would be taking a step back. By the time you buy a N/A car or an HHR and get all the nickle and dime stuff that comes along with a supercharger swap, you'll probably end up spending what you can get out of your LSJ, and have an inferior car.

yeah unfortunately due to how bad the depreciation is on Cobalts in general, but the SS/SC its not worth selling to fund the swap. I'm going to drive mine until it needs a transmission or a motor and then its getting parted out and junked
