Texas!

Depending on timing and such we could organize a state wide meet or have this available at our Lone star bash.

If not, we can run Texas like the olympic torch, dfw take it as it enters the state from whichever direction, then we run it to houston, houston runs it across to SA, SA to austin, austin to odessa, odessa to el paso. Idk just a though but we could get hella good video of the banner cruising around the state with us.

ideas from other texans?

In San Antonio, Texas.
Could go from El paso to Dallas, Dallas to Austin, Austin to San Antonio, San Antonio to Houston.

Or the other way around, seems like the most logical route to go.

I'm pretty sure Mark wouldn't care about what order of cities it goes through, but I personally would like to see this banner at a Galveston cruise.

no offense...but south texas has typically been a quiet front for our delta community. That's not to say we won't make sure the banner makes it down there, but it's just why most of the crews never stopped to think about corpus and some of the other cities.

yeah i get you lol. I dont even go to any meets around here because well...its mostly trucks. all dropped and with huge wheels. nothing special. I've seen other balts around here but haven't seen one that is active on this site. if it makes it here cool if not then i might try and make a trip to a meet somewhere up north. still dont know yet

This is a really good idea. Where would the banner end up and who gets it in the end? Or why not just once a year, run it back on the route reversed and so on.

Welcome! You should stop by gmofhouston.com and make an introduction thread. PM me when you create an account so that I can approve it immediately.

you need to visit the forum a little more. That date was cancelled about two weeks ago on account that it was too inconvenient to our San Antone brethren. New date/new thread is for September 1st. However, if you can't make this cruise, please keep in mind that we typically have one in the spring as well....hell, we will even host a mini-cruise in between if there's enough interest. We really like to cater to what everyone wants.
