PICS:my license plate holes fix
Nothing new I'm sure but here is my fix for my ugly front plate:

Before:


Start small and get bigger with your bits until the rivot gives out


Pull off the plate and clean up the holes:


Autozone FTW!


During the above process...6 coats of color matched white I bought from GM and 3 clear coats.


Better than how it was but of course I wish the F'n dealership left the plate off!

Don't mind the missing bowtie....it's in the middle of its white paint job. Done painting today. Gloss tomorrow and reinstall

you can always put the plate on the dash, as long as its there they cant say anything.

yes they can its the law has to have 2 plates on the bumpers only can't be in the windshield

Danke schone....it's been fun getting it to where it is.* Those cheap ass caps were the first ever thing I've painted for one of my cars.* Again...my front bowtie is getting clearcoated and re-installed tomorrow.* It's colormatched white too so the front will look a ton better.
