is that stock pulley? what injectors did you initially use or are using... I am worried about my tune, my guy told me lsj stock injectors tend to come up short for eaton swaps on the 2.2

Thanks alot I have used this thread many times for assistance like with rewiring the SS TB.

ive been following this thread since the beginning hunter. ill start my own once you complete steps 8+ with pictures lol. going to start collecting parts now and i may need your phone number. quick question: what is the easiest/cheapest route for having a tune already when the supercharger is installed. i really dont want to deal with HPT or dynos or any of that other crap. i would love to have the ECU with a starter tune for boost in my hand as soon as i install the kit for minimal downtime. this is my DD and i need it sometimes lol

you say 42's someone else told me 60's I don't know what's right... I doubt the ss ones are at full cycle stock no company does that let alone gm... I have no major upgrades and don't plan on upgrading pulleys for awhile or anything else for that matter. I was told the stock lsj one's should be just fine as long as I don't want to rev past 6500... Sounds like no one knows.... I want to hear from someone who has the eaton installed on their 2.2 with no upgrades (cai, exhaust, header etc...)

42lbers are fine for this application. stock LSJ injectors may be a bit on the small side. I would stick to 42lbs. If you EVER think you even MIGHT upgrade lower than a 2.9", get the 60lb injectors from the start. It will save you a LOT of money doing this. im not sure if the 8pin-6pin changeover for TBs was in '07 or in '08, so i cant answer that question for certain.

As far as a starter tune, if you arent going to be doing your own tunes, then trifecta can help you there. they have a base tune that they send out to you, and then once the car is running, you will fine tune it specific to your car.

yes, its completely stock internals (for now )

sorry i missed the question rockstar, but yea, same thing needs to be done with the 2.4 harness as with the 2.2 harness. The colors of the wires will be different though, but beck hasthe wiring diagram (with colors) for the 2.4 in his how to

6 pin has one ground reference wire, and one 5v reference wire. the 8 pin has 2 ground wires and 2 5v reference wires. You can split the wires to make 2 additional wires to connect to the 2 additional pins on a LSJ TB. you will need an 8 pin connector though...and thats a pain to get

where did you get your map sensor connector from? you did end up using an SS map sensor right? I have been trying to track one down and the only one my local dealer can find is the only one available right now and they want 96.00 for it... :-S insane! so with that said this is the only thing I am waiting on now thanks again for your help.

yeah so hopefully someone knows where to get one for cheaper... the map sensor has to be used in other cars that aren't SS or redline and if that is the case we ought to be able to get one from the junk yard for free.

nope. i used the 1 bar in the Ss/sc, not the 2.5 bar. That one is a direct plug and play to your stock connector.

FYI: To add to this parts list, any 2.2L WITHOUT AC will need to buy an AC Condenser to just SIT there and spin or if there is an a/c delete kit of some sorts you can buy for it to sit there... that would work as well.

just finished supercharging however I need to fix some of my setup since car isn't running properly (long story, I have 3 things I need to check)... You need to cut one of the ribs off the belt for it to fit since our pulleys only use 4 ribs and the s/c's have 5 ribs.

Almost... lol... supercharger install is COMPLETE... I just need to fix my install though because of some minor issues which is preventing me from properly driving... I need to do some minor rewiring & move where I had the sensors positioned & fix my vacuum/boost line.... after that, hopefully, all will be good!

rock on definately got to get some footage up soon then! I see jbp sells an aftermarket crank pulley for a reasonable price so I'm just going to buy that. Hopefully next week I will get to start it only been 6 months waiting...
