Wanted to see if anytime soon is there a possibility to have a Group Buy for the STAGE 2 AXLES?

Yeah, I would buy them, if I had the cash when they start the GB. I always have the worst timing on those, I missed the Interceptor one before it got locked waiting to get some money together.

I talked to Scott ( the owner ) at Intense Drag Day 9 over the weekend about these axles because someone with an 07 SS/SC broke a stock axle shifting into second on the track. Scott recommends buying their suspension package first. Which includes the poly motor and tranny mounts. He said this set up should take care of 90% of wheel hop and has less vibration then the ingalls. He said he will gladly sell someone axles but spending $260 is better than $800. Plus these mount are their own mounts. Not the j-body mounts they used to sell. Scott said he would give a $100 credit towards the package if you have the old j-body mounts. Not 100% positive on the $ amount but pretty sure he said $100. Intense is a great company and will bend over backwards to help everyone out. You might have to give them a call or shoot them an e-mail though as they are very busy this time of the year. Sorry for the story but figured everyone would like to know.

I'm all about getting mounts, but the axles will have to get done eventually. If someone were to start a GB on these, I would try my damndest to buy me a set.

Whichever vendor did it, I bet they'd make a killing on a group buy for axles.

Everytime we have done a group buy in the past it usually ends up hurting us. Either not enough people sign up or people want the better price beyond the posted date or something else happens that makes the deal sour.

We have a few thoughts on a better way to handle this. Instead of saying so many people need to sign up and pay before date x to get price y how about somethign along the lines of between date x and date y each person who buys a set of axles raises the discount by 1% and then all the orders ship on date z. For example if between May 1st and May 15th 4 people buy a set of axles then they each get 4% off and we ship on May 20th. We would cap this at some point (probably 10) so that the max discount would be 10%.

Alternatively we could do something along the lines of a promotion where if you purchase a set of axles you get some percentage off on a suspension package (maybe 50% or even FREE?) Or buy a suspension package and get 10% off on axles, something along those lines.

Thoughts?

I would be very interested in buying the suspension package and getting 10%off the axles. As long as the 10% off the axles is good for anytime or lets say a year from the purchase of the sus. package. I can't afford $1000 at once. I want both because sometime this year i'm looking at getting DR's

I agree with SSweet...I could use some CABs and transaxle mounts. All I have in that department so far is the ZZP front tranny mount.
