I purchased a ported an polished LSJ head without the rotating assembly, and a set of used Pauter rods from the seller. Besides having to cover the paypal fee (unbeknownst to me until payment had been sent), the Pauter rods were sent in to ZZP to be installed on my block. The head was to be shipped to my residence. Almost a full week later of no response, no emails, no PM's, no tracking number, ZZP notified me that they received the rods, and there was a problem.

The rods had been refinished, and one of the refinished rods was complete garbage. At that point, I PM'd the seller, demanding that he respond immediately. He did, and paid for the cost to replace the rod, and finally gave a tracking number for the head. It was at that point that I discovered his thread where he revealed that he grenaded his block. I informed him that I wanted to have the head inspected, but he shipped it anyways. I had a friend inspect it, and he told me that the head was garbage (filled with several pits, and a gashed combustion chamber). I informed him, to which his reply that it was either shipping damage or mishandling on my part. He said that the head is good to be used as is. As a result I filed a Paypal claim. I took the head to a professional shop, and they informed me that the head needed an additional 400 dollars of repair, not including the cost of new parts to make it right.

Paypal is well aware of this seller's history. Let my horror story be a lesson. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAMMER!!!

1 I gave pedro more money than was requested when he notified me about bad rod

3 you filed a complaint with paypal and obviously you were wrong because paypal chose not to do anything

5 im sorry that your friend is an idiot and wants to charge 400 bucks to repair a head that has nothing wrong with it

Actually, PayPal is still investigating the claim due to an error on their part. We secondly, you may have your opinions about people whom you've never met, but when their recommendations are accompanied by the documentation of a known and well respected third-party shop, your opinion is pretty moot.

Granted you did paid for the replacement of the rod, which is why I thought you would be workable with the head. However, you made a thread where you disclosed the destruction of your block and then neglect to make it known in your for sale thread. You didn't even disclose that parts were coming off a block that you damaged. The pictures you posted don't even show the damaged rod or the damage done to the head. Funny how you only pictured three out of four rods too....

Actually paypal closed the claim in my favor but you chose to appeal their decision that is the only reason it is still open and asa I get the box its going straight to the shop that did all the work on it including assembly and disassembly and if it is not in the original condition then the claim continues

I never destroyed my block so or had a catastrophic engine damage so I would like to see where you get this information cause I think I would remember if I grenade a ZZP block like you are describing

the only damages to the engine was a rod bearing had heated up but the bearing material was still intact so again before you start throwing it out there that I had engine grenade you might want to get your facts straight

now there has been plenty of other people on here buy from me with no problems including the so called block that came apart so again before you throw out there that im a scammer I just want it to be known that paypal ruled in my favor on the claim that was between me and pedro so obviously I wasn't scamming anyone if they made their decision

and lastly the only reason I chose not to refund you for the head is because I tried working with you to get information about the head and you refused this information and simply stating oh I don't want it anymore
