What's that? Since I haven't adopted the idea of social media, mine has been practically non-existent.

Having a social life without social media can be done, it means you have to go out and talk to people

I will hopefully be retiring in about 7 years if things go well. That's puts me at 58 1/2. I will still work part time, just not full time.

I do not take it for granted I got lucky with parents that bought the house I'm in now and I'm renting to own from them. Should be payed off when I'm around 48 or so. I hope I can get myself in a position to do similar for my children

Houses in your area, they're practically giving away for free

If you have $500,000, I can get a (sub-par) house here. You donating to that cause?

I did move to a slightly cheaper area, however I can't move too far due to the job. Haven't found anything that gives me the benefits and flexibility that I have now.

In my area of Indiana $500,000 would get you a 5000sq foot house with a in ground pool (ice hockey rink for you) and a 4 bay garage.

Once I get my Security+ and ITIL 4 this year, I'll definitely be looking further out.

500 grand is a badass house almost anywhere in the US outside of some super wealthy areas.
