From what I have learned "salary" only exists as a loophole to get around laws that protect the employee. There literally isn't one aspect of salary that benefits or protects the worker that isn't at the employer's sole discretion. It's a load of bullshit if you ask me.

Works well for me. If you were being overworked I could see it being an issue for sure.

Like I said employer's discretion. Salary can be great but it's not salary that's treating you fair it is your employer. My point is salary is only as beneficial to the employee as the employer wants it to be. You don't have any of the legal protections hourly people do like overtime, holiday pay, or being compensated for working extra hours.

Well the good part about that is youre allowed to leave whenever you want and go work somewhere thats treats people fairly.

This. I mean I'd love a little extra money for extra work but the contract is for a certain amount of work I get paid X per year.

Used some rubbing compound to remove the oxidized clear on my roof. Got a random orbiter to do it. I should've gotten one years ago. Might actually wax fairly regularly now.
