I go to sleep with the TV on but end up reaching up and turning it off eventually.

I started in college having inconsiderate roommates who never had classes before 10am and I had 8am's every semester.

If I'm having issues falling asleep, I turn online radio on my phone, but the turn the screen off immediately after.

I used to do the TV on a timer, but I find it too bright these days.

I quit cable TV in 2007. It's called "Television PROGRAMMING" for a reason

To be contradictory, I do enjoy me some youtubes with the idea that I have more control over the content I intake. It's not like car modification channels force me to buy things I don't need, we all need more boost!! Can You Dig It?!

I regularly fall asleep on the couch with the tv on. What's bad is I set up the timers to auto turn off but all it does is give a popup asking if im still watching It wont turn off till you select yes. We have a tv in the bedroom but rarely use it. I sleep with a fan on when I'm responsible and go to bed correctly She hates it bc I use both the ceiling fan and pedestal fan pointed at me no matter how cold it is.

I sweat so much in my sleep, I can understand wanting to have two fans.

No tv while trying to sleep for me. It's bad for you. and more and more studies say that it messes with your sleep cycles.

You quit cable TV a lot earlier than me but to be fair in 2007 I was a Jr-Sr. in HS. I don't do cable either. Pretty much fall asleep to futurama, Rick and Morty, or King of the Hill. If it's a show that's too engaging I have trouble sleeping the whole night as my mind never shuts off. So I watch these same shows that I've already seen pretty much every episode. TBH i just wind down with the TV on but first time I wake up I hit the power button. I can only sleep with it on the whole night if I am super tired or had a few too many. I also sleep with a fan on. Must... have... fan...

Goddamn, I was already done 2 years of college in 2007. You making me feel ollllllld JD lol

Count me in requiring a fan for sleep. I'll have just the ceiling fan for winter but when it gets warmer I'll have a 2nd fan going as well. ****, my desk at work has a fan too.
