.
It only has 47k. I bought a Volt the Feb before last because I started working 55 miles away and started taking over electrification projects, sort of like "Method Engineering". The Volt has been broken for a while, back to the dealer again I am pretty sure it's a Votlec warranty issue; so I have been driving the Cruze again. I might dump the Volt and keep the Cruze. I have a spare 1.4 in the garage too, just in case.

the LUV is a decent motor. they last pretty long. I see alot of high mile ones. but I prefer the LE2 in the 2nd gens.

know the codes the volt set? I am the guy who works on them here. Actually just finished replacing the drive battery assembly with the updated design because we cant get a section for the original design. I can also check your warranty if your unsure about it. Volts are pretty reliable honestly, they do have a couple common issues but most are fixable with software updates.
