You're gonna have me driving to TN to get my ignition recall done I'll even add cash on top of the warranty rates since I know you guys take a hit on warranty work.

Dealer #1 told me it was the 12V battery but wasn't sure it would fix it. Now it is at Dealer #2; I missed their call back but they left a message, said they ordered a relay yesterday forgot to call, thinks it was shorting out. Relay on backorder so should be in tomorrow. It would be covered under vaultec warranty. If that fixes it the car will be done tomorrow!

This. I'm very tempted to drive the 11 hours just so I know I have a dependable technician.

You should give me a quote on that timing chain and balancer belt install

Never heard of those, thanks for the idea.

No idea what the code is, lol. I just know it has to be EVAP related because the "Check gas cap" message keeps coming on, and the car smells like gas.

I'm going to look at it when I swap tires in a few weeks. It's just been so cold here, even with a garage I didn't want to be out there wrenching.

backorder is usually a good sign that is the problem. Id say 90% of the time when we have a issue and a suspected part is b/o, that part fixes it.
