Final day of work. So in a sense, the title of the thread is correct.

I need to buy a '96 miata and drop my old LNF in it. But that would not be free.

LNF can be done but it's difficult. You'd need a full driveline from a solstice. Or at least the trans with a custom driveshaft. And you'd need to add a torque brace. Or you can get a custom flywheel and use the trans adapter. You'd also need to relocate the oil cooler.

I like that body style and I believe 96 was when they switched to OBD II. When I was originally looking at them I would have just played around with the stock miata and upgrades rather than a full on swap. But guess if I was swapping out everything though it wouldnt matter as much what year. But definitely still the NA body style.

Im here just its been a busy day. Gm has a new bulletin with a retainer kit to fix charge pipe blowing off the throttle body on 19 equinox's, the parts are the same that are already on the damn car... i just got back from a test drive after putting on the "new" parts. The pipe blew off twice. Now tac is telling me to just replace the pipe and throttle body... with the same parts....

What am I gonna do with that catch it on fir...….. that actually sounds like a good idea Lol.
Also pipe is on infinite backorder, we also had the throttle body in stock but it was broken in the box. Sometimes I think I should play the lottery with the odds I find myself in then I remember I work for gm, the odds of failure are normal.

Not as high as Mercedes, VW (including Audi), Chrysler/Fiat/Jeep. But high enough.
