Yeah, thankfully I'm not working Saturday. Either way I'm still waking up at my normal time tomorrow because to hell with letting my body think it's a weekend

Most of my 4-day weekend will be spent working in my side business, i.e. making taillights

I took Friday off so I can do the last couple of things to get my car ready for the next track day:
wire up EGT sensor;
change brake fluid;
nut & bolt check;
heat cycle my new set of NT01's.

Harness bar is finally installed. Haven't driven the car with it yet but thing sure looks beefy and should shore things up in the back.

You running a single EGT sensor at the collector? And what do you do to heat cycle your tires?

Probably either gas line or could be the plastic part that fails on top of the fuel tank

I should get mine checked as well, since I had to replace mine a couple years ago.

The EGT was installed in the turbo exhaust manifold on my last rebuild (see picture).
As far as heat cycling tires, nothing too scientific. I do some increasingly hard acceleration and full-on braking along with some 60mph slaloms on the toll road behind my house lol.Then drive home, take the wheels off the car like you're supposed to and let them rest for a week. I was going to link a very good blog post about heat cycling but just found out the site is 404...
Here's a good write-up from Hoosier, although they describe how to heat cycle on-track.

I wonder if I could extend usable life by doing a heat cycle and rest on my Potenza-RE-71Rs that I use for autocross. I probably pretty much do that on the first autocross run though. As long as I let them rest (I assume it's important to remove the wheels so tires can rest unloaded) 5-6 1 minute autocross runs should be about the right amount as long as there isn't too much time in between runs?

That's not going to be enough. Hoosier is saying ATLEAST 24 hours. a week is better:
