Update on my leaking transmission I'm not confident the fluid came out through a bad axle seal. There was red fluid up on top of the transmission and I don't remember spilling any when filling it. It's really hard to tell were the epicenter is because it seems to blow all over but it looks like it could have came from the top. I filled the transmission with the wheel off but tried to level the car as it would be with the wheel on. I'm thinking maybe I didn't have the car level like it would be with wheels on an possibly overfilled which caused it to burp out the top vent in the fill cap? I don't really know. I cleaned everything up and I guess I will put the wheel back on and drive around to see if I can better tell where it is coming from.

It's not much. I maybe leaked a tablespoon altogether. Damn Ford dripped a little bit of oil pulling the car on the trailer as well. Can't tell where it is coming from either. Over a 3.5 hour trip it wasn't enough oil to show up on the dipstick but it did coat the leading edge of the trailer enough for some dirt to stick. I think it is leaking around the oil heat exchanger adapter that goes in between the oil filter and block but I can't get it to leak on short trips either. Ordered a new gasket to install when I get the chance. Its always something

It's because I wasn't here. You know that 4 letter word called "work"? That was me all day. Not you lazy bums.

Ryan Colon, and he has a killer deal on that fully built car at $10500 or something crazy like that. Will go almost 10 seconds in the 1/4 if he was at sea level. It's probably got close to $20k in parts on it. ECaulk should buy it just for the drivetrain and trade them out. I'm glad I'm not closer or I would seriously look at buying it.

Makes Royce's old car look like a bad deal. Wonder if ever sold your old car Royce? He didn't have near as much luck as you at a cheaper price.

$10,000 on car. Swap your drivetrain for his, plus sell a few parts here and there. Sell his car for $7,000, keep yours and you have $3,000 in a fully built motor and $4000 trans. That's what I would do.

He doesn't have kids yet. He and Leemanfor could knock it out in a couple of weekends.

Yeah Yeah I know. But I daily my car on the highway at 75mph so the 4.45 would make things a little droney for me.
