It's either a new post that you assign to the front page, or the front page is a stand alone page and requires some HTML to fill in.

Yeah that's stuff I have no clue about and mods aren't responsible to assigning those log ins but I'm sure something could be done to change it

Just by looking at it, it's a new post. Should be pretty easy to implement, just clone one of the older pages (Slowbalt's) change the image to... whatever and text fill the rest with some good ol' fashion Latin.

You know, if I was half as good with a wrench as I am with {insert technology field here}, I would've already had my car supercharged years ago.
I'm a ******* idiot when it comes to the engine.

The mechanical side is a lot easier than you think honestly, for sure a lot easier than doing what you do lol. Now when you get into electrical and network systems is when things get ******* complicated quick I know more than the average person when it comes to pc stuff but your on a level I haven't messed with since xp days.

Watched a couple youtube videos about a guy trying to restore salvage teslas (and repairing them in general). Looks like tesla is fighting as hard as they can to keep the repairs to themselves. It's way worse than making special tools. They even blacklist cars from buying parts when they determine that they have been worked on by someone else.

I don't do much with electrical other than running new lines for new networking systems. I'm sure if I actually sat down with the whole concept the light bulb will go off but currently... I only recently learned how to do my own brakes lol.
I'm MSCE certified

Musk is becoming a bit of a super villain, just not as in plain site as Jeff Bezos.

Yeah, and he's political about it too because they showed a quote from him when they released all of their patents, he said if electric cars are going to be mainstream they need to have 3rd party repair shops able to do the work.

One of the videos had the guy go give his repair opinion for a car a dude got for cheap on Craigslist. Basically it needed a new rear fender, strut, and upper link. Tesla's quote was $18,000 for the repair. Apparently insurance costs are outrageous because of this.

I think it's crazy the amount of effort some companies put in so that consumers can't have a go at repairing their own devices. It's an issue even with tractors anymore and their proprietary software.
