can confirm, this helps with turbo longevity. plus you get intimate with your car and it has a piece of you inside it.

Nice.
Nah it's when going from stop to forward motion in first. It will start to go, bog down, pick up and then go. No CEL, and it's intermittent.

I might just start with cleaning the TB again. Haven't done that in 3 years.

What model do you have again? You could gain a lot of information just with one of those bluetooth OBD scan tools. Sound's like it could be a fueling issue.

This. Don't bother blasting the valves, with port injection your valves are likely pristine.

Make sure your fuel system isn't completely fucked, run a cleaner through if you buy the cheapest gas, not sure how good the Canuck gas is

I have a Bluetooth ODB tool and Torque that I use regularly. I usually use Shell 91 gas as it's ethenol free.

I'd take a look at your live fuel trim readings while duplicating the conditions which cause you problems.

that's your problem. You need at least 70% ethanol

ethanol isn't gonna muck anything up at 5-10%. Your car isnt designed to run on 91 (iirc you have a NA not a boosted car) that could be some of the problem. Try midgrade for a tank or two and then try regular for a tank or two

Looks like I have some videos to watch about fuel trims. Didn't know there was a long and short option.

Handbook says 91 octane, so that's what I use.
