Got my Cobalt up on jack stands last night. Going to pull the transmission and install a Quaife LSD, Exedy Chromoly flywheel, and a new clutch which I haven't settled on yet. I am open to recommendations for F23 clutch good enough for 350-400 ft-lbs. Also going to chop up my old strut housings and install Koni inserts for the front to have Koni's and YYZ's on all 4 corners.

Still debating on throwing on my 6758. I would feel better knowing that I had a stout spare transmission before doing it, and all I have is my old stock 3.82. Since I was going to throw 4.05 gears in it and have lnfwagonss build it to be ready but he is already booked up for the whole year. So I may just wait.

Haven't touched either of my winter projects. Too low on disposable income. I cant wait to get them both running though. One is a 4wd rc nitro buggy and the other is a 2 stroke 400 scrambler. Got most of the parts I need, just a few of the more expensive bits and itl be ready for assembly.

Just take it easy on the boost ramp and then just hold it at 22-23psi it will still be a ton of fun and you won't have to worry about the transmission.

It won't fall off up top. And it will allow you to sell the WR-1 and then plan for the transmission swap later

Those are nice, don't get to see many at the shop. If you ever get one make sure it stays out of the rain and salt. Its already expensive enough to work on them being everything is so tightly crammed underneath, corrosion just makes it even more problematic.

I have the m62 and I believe the 3.1 pulley, the manifold... And that's it. I need to source the LSJ TB and pin adapter, the H/E, misc. piping and belt.

I just don't have a garage (or really space) to do it being in an apartment. I have some ratchet tools, and I do get the general idea.

That and I need a tuner.

Honestly his STi is fun, you can bang gears all day and not worry about a transmission breaking. Granted he had to build it to be able to bang gears on a bigger turbo, it was cheaper than an LNF built tranny.

But for a daily not so much fun, poor fuel mileage. I like my LNF for a daily, semiracecar.
