2008 Subaru WRX 4-Door or 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT4?

Alright guys... its becomming that time where I am thinking of getting something new?

I went and looked today at a Satin White Pearl 2008 WRX and it was just down right good lookin' car!

Or do I go for all out performance and say screw looks and get the Caliber SRT4?

***EDIT my next car is going to be 4-Door***

Those are the 2 cars I am most interested in, with my $25,000 budget!

Man, used 03/04 cobra can be had around those prices...

But, I'd go WRX. I really like the new look.

I'd say WRX over the Caliber.

I'm not looking at the Hatchback model WRX... it's actually a nice looking car!

These options are much more realistic for me....

I am looking into a 2006 Evo VIII MR as well but these are just a more REASONABLE alternatitve!

I was going to say a used Evo or STI, but you don't want somebody else's headaches. Usually those cars that are used tend to mean that they were abused as well.

I would have to say none of the above .

JMO , family cars I would looking into :

Used Subaru legacy Spec-B . Turbo , manual , AWD
02-03 Audi S4 ...car in those pics is $24K . 340 hp V8 , Recaro's , manual and AWD .

Left out the speed3 cuz u said u didnt like it .

The new LNF SS WILL be in sedan form too , released shortly after the coupe . They did mention that in their press release of the coupe @ Sema so its not specualtion .

Without naming cars not on the list, the WRX. The SRT-4 is faster, but it's FWD, and I'm not sure how solid the build is on a Dodge. I haven't heard or seen good things in a while.

I'd go with the Scooby. Hell, I may trade in my 'Balt in on a Scooby come model year end clearance. I need a wagon, and they're the only ones making them pretty much.

My girlfriend has an 08 2.5i impreza and it's probably the closest thing to infallible in the snow/bad weather I've ever driven. Plus the build quality is about 10000000 times better than the Caliber which we also looked at while car shopping. Being that you're lookin for a family car I'd say go for the WRX. Personally I wouldn't wanna load my family into a car built by a company that needs a lifetime powertrain warranty, government aid, and multiple different owners to sell cars. That being said... I've owned 3 dodges and the caliber looks sweet.
