Dominic Borrillo — 5 starDid a 2.4L ecotec swap into my buggy, father son project. They helped out a lot, answered all of our questions, great customer service friendly and helpful guys, great running car. They really go the extra mile.

Chris Evans Oh cool did they supply you with a fake dyno graph off a cobalt forum so you could claim it is yours too? grin emoticon

Thanks for the link to the thread.

We apologize for the use of your photo without permission. I'm unsure of how or why it was posted at this point, but I've made sure it was removed from all media. I will get to the bottom of why it was posted in the first place.

As a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business [Army], it is nor ever was our intent to use, redistribute, or represent pictures that are not our own without the owner[s] permission. I sincerely apologize for the mishap and inconvenience. It shouldn't of happened in the first place. I've had our web folks take all pictures down that do not represent our product or data.

Again, I apologize and am embarrassed it happened. A PM has been sent as well.

We apologize to any and all CSS members affected - we have rectified any and all media content reflected.

Thank you.

Agreed. On Both.

But, it appears that all the misbegotten dyno charts are down. That's what matters.

It def wasnt a mistake, the graphs were cropped to remove the dyno name. They intentionally modified the pics to exclude important information so hopefully no one could tell.

ya i can't help but think other staff should recognize their own dyno graphs or be present when doing dyno runs to support their products out of sheer curiosity.. how could the boss not tell one of his employees was pulling multiple graphs from the internet?

ah well. at least it was caught and will be fixed.

You're not sorry you did it. You're sorry you got caught and have to actually dyno your own products.

^ This. Why even mention it? I can't stand it when people use various statuses for sympathy.

To me it's like if you are ASE certified making sure that's the first thing you tell everyone whether or not it has ANY relation to the topic at hand.

From my personal experience the ones who have to tell you how certified they are or disabled they are without reason are the ones who are trying to hide something or make up for something.

Just sayin'

More FYI

Late to the party here. Just Want to add more alphafab, now alpha motorsports public info. Bought their ecotec 2.4 ready to run package for a sand car. Received missing the MAF sensor and knock sensor. Those were sent promptly. Throttle body was bad. They replaced it with one with different connections. Forcing modifications to new harness. Oil leak from poorly sealed flywheel bolts after startup. Agreed to compensate for time spent repairing leak. Hasn't paid in a years time. Engine leaks around timing cover after a few runs. Dirt found internally when I removed the flywheel sensor.

Shaun Mcollely talks one thing, but acts another. Buyer beware.
