Looks like I'll be heading up that weekend solo. The wife will already be up in Chicago that week, so I'll drive up and meet her. So I'd definitely be interested in a cruise. I live in Chillicothe, but I can meet pretty much anywhere.

What day are you planning on doing this? I don't know if I could take a day off of work so it'd have to be after 5 pm on Friday...

i just double checked and i have a race that weekend so it looks like i wont make it unless the schedule changes

I was planning on heading up there Friday for the cruise in Chicago. You should take the day off, you deserve it.;)

Just so everyone knows, the central Illinois that I'm talking about is around 3 hours away from the Chicago area.

OK, but what time? Noon? 3pm? 5 pm?

If it's 3 pm, I could swing some flex time, if it's Noon I'd probably have to take a half day which I could swing.

It takes a good 3 hours to get there, probably a little more (unless you happen to have a radar detector ;))

If you can leave at noon, we could catch part of the drag races and then join the cruise afterwords. For a meeting place, how about either Peoria or East Peoria, since they're right by 74. Then hopefully we can get a few more people to cruise with us.

Yes, it will be back together. I have 95% of the parts now. Mainly just need to shave the trunk, which I have been delaying, and paint everything. As long as I can stop buying other parts, like coilovers lol, I should have enough money to get everything done.

Looking at google, if we go to the dragstrip it will be about 4 hours. So, I don't know if it would be worth it, unless we left earlier. I don't plan on racing so it's not really a big deal to me.
