Just want to say thanks to who all who came to the palace, met lots of good peeps. But i agree we.need to change it up to get some more of regular crowd. BTW I might be able to hook us up with a meet next spring/summer at the volo auto museum. If there is interest, I can hook it up.

Am I the only one who remembers that we are in Chicago, and it's already cold out, let alone what it's going to be for the next 5 months?
Are we really going to be wanting to stand around in the cold looking at cars?

Chicago Indoor Racing is an awesome place. Pricey but if we have at least 15 confirmed then we get a discount. Parking is pretty good there too. Definitely worth doing at LEAST once.

yep 18 for d&b.
the thing is if we find a PLACE to eat and what not we can all hangout and mingle and what not. we are all going to be parking in a parking lot no matter where we meet so i dont see why you still cant look at eachothers point.
chicago indoor racing is pricey especially if you dont have a license.

food and lot, anything more well just be spending money. Plus say not alot of people want to spend that kind of money they might not wanna come. The best places are usually cheap places, white castle, mcdonalds and such.

um definately not..... sorry i for one will never seat down and have a car meet at a mcdonalds or white castle or anything. maybe some sort of diner or something like scoobys in west chicago or andys in bolingbrook.
but parking lot meets get gay. sure once in ahwile is coo but the same **** all the time and with the same faces always showing up i dont see the point in looking at the same thing on the same peoples cars every meet. its not like everyone drops thousands every single month.
i mean plus with the weather right now NO one is going to want to stand outside. i see that stuff more for the summer.

buffalo wild wings is not the best place for a large group. i went there for a car meet and they didnt let us split the check all 30 of us had to walk up to the cash register and find what you ate and then pay for it up there. the waiters were dicks and literally threw napkins at us and i dont think you can make reservations (if we were looking to do that)

Official word from Tom@CED
Our next meeting will be held on Nov 26th
(Thats the Saturday evening just after Thanksgiving) at 8pm
at:
Portillo's Hot Dogs
235 North Ave
Glendale Heights, IL 60139-3407
We have moved this one to a central area just off of 355 on North ave. Its very easy to get to from just about everywhere. We will talk about where the next meeting will be at this meeting and the post it up on the forum as well.
I have been told that we should be able to use their party room so we can all sit together.
See ya there.

Portillos will be good. Close to home too.
There's no car meets anymore most people put their stuff away for winter. Its usually just legit clubs that meet up during winter. Everyone needs to quit with excuses.

And this on meeting in winter. If we want meets in the summer, we need a group of people active to plan them. So show up. Bring whatever car your heart desires, just come out and meet everyone and get involved. I'll probably be rocking my sweet "new" winter Cavi.
