tried doing some looking around and came up empty handed. looks like this law wasnt revised for 2013. bust for us, again. last look at it was one 1/11/2011 and it looks like it was filed and forgotten. bogus ass crap.

i put mine back since bridgeview has given me two tickets for having my dec plate on. scumbags. dont drive through there at night. they are money hungry *****. they disected my car the last time i got pulled over. 3 tickets, driving with just my fogs, no front plate and my blue turn signal behind my mirrors. they checked my untinted windows, looked for modified exhuast, called me out on my license plate not working, and the fact i have halos. such dicks they are.

incredible.

to protect and to serve though... just think. if you had tinted windows you wouldn't be able to see the guy flying at you because he was so entranced by your halos. and then they wouldn't be able to identify your car because the front plate was down and the rear one was too hard to get to. and if you had a loud exhaust maybe the loud decibals would have shattered your tinted windows, sending shards of glass through other motorists skulls.

they are definately there to protect you, not money hungry pigs

I don't have a front plate. Haven't for 2 years. I never get pulled over for it. The tints .... That's another story. I have 20% all around though and I've only been yanked once for it damn Orland park cops ... They don't play.

I just find it funny,

they dont like dark tints because they cant see who is in the car... umm what... if you have limo tint in the back and nothing in the front... 98.9% of the time you are being pulled over with the cop behind you... If you wanted to shoot him, he has no clue if you had a gun until he gets past your rear side window... POW POW, even if he has his hand on his gun, he cant see you through limo tint...

sorta stupid if you ask me

I ended up putting it on because the holes were drilled already when I bought the car (used). But before that I've never had a front plate in years, they just don't care on this side of the state.

I'm guessing in a few years they will be required in all states eventually.

In MA and NH they use the front and rear plates of cars to track people, especially when there's an amber alert. Toll booths, some police cars, and some bridges, intersections, etc. have cameras on them that record everything that drives by. using all these cameras they can track a single car very easily.

Like I said, they use it for amber alerts and it's very effective. they also used it after the marathon bombing to track the suspects for the whole week.

The police car cameras look like this. If you drive by one, chances are he scanned and recorded your plate
