were not exactly sure yet, we have to start planning it out soon i mean everyone on this thread is saying they will go now we just have to pick a track that everyone agrees on and a date. stay up to date on this forum, i will start talking about it to start planning things out,

Congrats on your purchase. Most tracks are opening up April 18th and 19th, I know I'll be at Earlville that weekend unless these guys are gonna headout to Eddyville on a Sat or Sun. Fri nights would be a little too much for me.

Have you guys been to the Newton Track? I know Matt Cossel29 has I wonder if its nice? We really need to start thinking of this meet i mean its getting close, spring is right around the corner.

The Newton track is a 1/8 mile and they start May 3rd. Probably not as sticky as Eddyville and I believe its mostly just test and tune type deal. No bracket racing or anything like that.

Right, its a "run what you brung" friday night deal Its more or less just yo have fun.. and newton is only 25 minutes east of des moines.. Its just drag racing down pit lane. I like it more than eddyville. I wheelhop way too much at eddyville and i dont feel like replacing axles..

The Newton track is a little closer than eddyville for me. Its those 80mph trap speeds on the 1/8 that I don't like, too far away to hold second and not enough time in third. It'd still be fun though...

i have actually never been at a 1/4 mile track, it shud be fun to come up to cedar falls and try it out this summer!
