I know, I seen that shit.

Too bad mine is my winter car too.

Blizzaks ftw. Speaking of which, I still need to buy 2 new ones.

BPacak 11-03-2010 10:35 PM

yeah i still have my first car, saturn beater so i just drive that in the winter. saving a good amount of money and miles so im happy. once the saturn dies il bust out the cobalt for winters

Lifter 11-03-2010 10:37 PM

I'm too broke to have 2 cars =(

And winters must suck for you up in Lorain. You guys get pounded on up there with snow don't you?

TommyP 11-03-2010 10:37 PM

It's gonna be a sad day when I come home to my balt stuck in the garage due to snow. Sadly that could be this Saturday.

Lifter 11-03-2010 10:41 PM

My balt pwns in the snow. With the shitty winter last year, I had no problem out there.

BPacak 11-03-2010 10:41 PM

well im like 30 mins from the lake, so yeah we get pounded pretty hard most of the time. i dont mind though love me some snowboarding.

very sad day haha. im thinking well i have a half tank gonna use it up then one more full one and after that im parking it.

TommyP 11-03-2010 10:43 PM

Me neither, snow tires make a world of difference. I drove my balt last winter. I wanted to keep it out of the snow and salt, and keep off the miles I put on it going to school and work, so I bought a Grand Prix as a DD. I've had the car for 3 weeks and have saved the balt 1000 miles so far. Plus it gives me something to work on/restore.

v6 gp?

TommyP 11-03-2010 10:52 PM

yep gt. White sedan. 2000.

Lifter 11-03-2010 10:54 PM

SC that bitch! Or do a V8 northstar swap.

TommyP 11-03-2010 10:57 PM

Nah I'm gonna put the money in the balt. I don't wanna put that kind of money in the Grand Prix. Maybe eventually. Lotta other things I wanna do first.

Lifter 11-03-2010 10:58 PM

I wanna' get out of the Cobalt owning business. STi or Focus ST for me.

TommyP 11-03-2010 10:59 PM

If I get out of the Cobalt I'm getting out of 4 cylinder cars.

TommyP 11-03-2010 11:01 PM

I want either a Vette, a classic V8 muscle car, or a Twin Turbo Supra next.

BPacak 11-03-2010 11:04 PM

ive always wanted a z06, but im only 20 and will probably stick with the balt for awhile and worry about a house and other stuff first.

BPacak 11-03-2010 11:06 PM

and il just throw this up for you guys because is cleveland and the supra haha. has traction issues and such especially with how cold its been.

That's pretty much the exact situation I'm in. I'll have the balt paid off by the time I finish college, then I'll get a house, then start on the project cars after I finish the probably project house. :guns:

you're gonna love it in the snow, my old gtp owned winter. it's heavy enough that it actually keeps traction.

with all the problems I've been having with my ss i'd love to have my gtp back right now. 165k miles and it gave me less problems in the 4 years I owned it than this car does in a week.

Lifter 11-04-2010 02:47 PM

First week I had my Cobalt, I broke the flex pipe (common, I know).
Second month the shifter (literally) fell apart.
6th month, replaced clutch.
12th month replaced transmission.
13th month replaced shifter cables.

Good times.

Drew.4L 11-04-2010 03:18 PM
