OFFICIAL Ohio Spring Meet! 5/8/2010 5 Year Anniversary!!!!!!
 

Can you believe it?!?!?! FIVE YEARS straight, twice a year we have had a meet in Columbus, OH. The first one being April 22, 2006. This year marks a milestone for us as the longest consecutive annual meet in the Cobalt Community! Time sure flies huh? Well I would like to get this one rolling as people have been itching to know. We broke tradition one spring and had our meet at a dealership and were sponsored by GMPP. That was great and all, but there is just continuity by sticking with Sharon Woods Park. If anyone would like to suggest anything special for this meet, please PM me for my email to discuss. We've tried a car show/awards but it takes away from the fun of it all.

Free as always, BYOB (no alcohol at the park!!), BYOF (food..)

As always, we will be going to Quaker Steak & Lube for wings/burgers/BS/drinks and then over to Magic Mountain where I challenge everyone to drift karting!!!!

For those wishing to extend the party through Sunday, we have a small tradition of going to Fort Rapids. It is a hotel in the eastern side of C-bus and has an indoor water park. The cost per room is a little steep but does include 4 passes to the water park. I suggest rooming up w/ friends. Or if you want to save a little $$ you can get a park pass Sunday for $26 (currently) and stay at a diff hotel or family/friend's place.

yea im sure his unemployment ass will go. If he and like 2 others go id go. 4 ppl is enough to take over the highway. Shit we had 10+ going down I-95 at one point with 5 of us doing 40-130mph pulls lol

I doubt it...ever since he blew his motor he's kinda given up on the cobalt. He's got an old 1G talon now that he's making his "fast" car and keeping the cobalt as "a decently quick daily"

yea i saw it the other day his friend dustin with a silver ss bought my winter wheels and tires but thats true doesnt seem like hes really into it ill ask him though u wanna meet up before the meet and cruise down there there a couple other cool locals in canton too

Actually, last year I set up a meeting point for all the northern guys like us. We met at the pilot center just off 71. I think we ended up having about 10 ppl meet there and we picked a couple up on the way randomly. Managed to somehow run into a redline from PA that was headed to our meet too lol

I am looking to buy a set of 18" ss/sc rims with or without rubber. They can be in pretty much any condition gunmetal or polished. If anyone has an extra set they would want to bring PM me and we can figure out price, etc.

ok mike that sounds like a plan theres alot of locals down here that are really cool kyle keeps wanting to get an sti idk why he doesnt just keep the ss but ill see if i can get him to go

Cuz kyle can never make up his mind. He buys cars all the time and then turns around and sells them. I've known of him to have like 4 talons in the last few years along with a cavalier and the cobalt. He always wants to have the fastest thing on the road for some reason...but never really puts in the time to actually build it.

Well... Ive been wanting to go to a meet for awhile now.... Its got to be pretty cool rolling up to a restaurant with a crap load of Cobalts.... And how can u go wrong with wings then drift karts..? Maybe the 2 hour drive..? Whos coming through western PA?
