Does not another company actually have the entire carbon fiber wing for the same price?

you see how its got the carbon fiber outer parts? those just pry off there held on by the same double sided tape like the wing. so goo-off and a screwdriver is how im guessing

Thank you all for your comments, questions and praise.
This thread has gone much smoother than the previous thread.

Its very simple to remove the factory end caps. You simply pry them off with your fingers (held in place with double sided tape) and once you peel them off, theres two screws that hold the supports to the middle section. You then remove the two screws, (DO NOT HAVE TO REMOVE< OR ADJUST, etc the side supports) and then install the carbon fiber inner blade, screws, and then the end caps.

Its actually very simple. Takes less than an hour to install, with just a allen key, double sided tape. No other special tools needed.

Is the spoiler pure carbon fiber? Or fiberglass or something else overlaid with CF? I am just wondering what the weight savings will be?

You might want to do some research then, overlaying a frame of some sort (ie. fiberglass or foam or anything) with CF is very common. It is a way that companies get the structural integrity they need and save themselves money by not using as much CF. To do it the right would involve a mold and an autoclave.

I wasn't trying to be a dick either, I just seem to come across that way. I was just saying that there are many ways around doing a good spoiler and for the price of $279, I am sure that this one probably cut some corners, but hey it will look good and still function, so who cares.

you need a how to to pull off two pieces the unscrew 4 screws then remove the blade the replace it with the carbon fiber one, then put the 4 screws back in and then peel the stull off the double sided tape on the ends and sticke em back on? wow do you need him to hold it for you when you pee too?
