Yeah I just tapped the connections with those wire things except for the pink wire you had to cut.

like I did the three steps they say to test it and everything acted like they said but it wont set

BLAZIN07SS Sep 10, 2010 11:07 AM

yep mine did the same thing until i soldered all the wires

MP Cobalt Sep 10, 2010 11:12 AM

what did you use to pull back the wire coating without cutting the wire?

BLAZIN07SS Sep 10, 2010 11:20 AM

just real careful with a regular set of wire strippers

MP Cobalt Sep 10, 2010 11:22 AM

lol those wires are so damn small i hate it.

BLAZIN07SS Sep 10, 2010 11:26 AM

yeah it is a PITA

MP Cobalt Sep 10, 2010 11:29 AM

well for the 16 gauge black/red wire i used splice connectors on the pink/white wire you think that will be fine just redo the yellow, blue, and green wire?

MP Cobalt Sep 10, 2010 11:35 AM

So basically it wont set cuz it prob didn't make a full connection through tapping it. I don't see why not cuz they said in the one test part it will lag at an area and it did, so i don't understand it, also when i push the clutch in when i have it hooked to my computer when the clutch is in it says up, instead of down or should i invert it? also which ignition did you pick other?

BlueBalt1113 Sep 10, 2010 11:43 AM

so sorry to jump n on your thread but i have the n2mb wot launch control for my 2.2 but i cant find a wire diagram for my engine anyone help?? i want it bad

MP Cobalt Sep 10, 2010 11:49 AM

its been too long for me to remember that. this was about a year and a half ago

MP Cobalt Sep 10, 2010 11:51 AM

damn cuz on the RPM source I picked other ignition system, because they don't have cobalt listed and all that.

BlueBalt1113 Sep 10, 2010 11:53 AM

their not the same as the 2.0 ignition coil wires different

MP Cobalt Sep 10, 2010 12:17 PM

Well your going to have a fun time. Idk what to tell you. you'll have to go to Gm and ask for the wire diagrams and shit.

expert mode will only let you gain access to proportional and integral control. we already know what the pid's should be for this car. if someone had a reason to change it we would give them the pw
