Finally quit lurking
Decided to finally sign up after lurking threads for almost 3 years haha
Names Rob and I have a used 2009 Cobalt SS/TC
Mostly bolt-ons from what I can tell. An unbranded cold air intake, MagnaFlow exhaust, and aftermarket chargepipe. I also believe I have a trifecta tune in place but I don’t Know exactly how to tell for sure without taking it to a tuner.
Looking to finally get involved a bit and hopefully contribute to the community!

Trifecta works with the TC if I remember correctly, but yes pressing the button will take you from 14-15psi to somewhere in the 20-25psi
Edit: seems like it could be either; cruise control or traction control
I got this from modern performance page
"Introducing one of the best tunes available for the 08-10 Cobalt SS Turbo. The Trifecta tune will give you a solid 30 HP and nearly 70 ft-lbs of torque within minutes.
Plus, you can keep your factory tune and activate the Trifecta tune with either the cruise control button (cruise control is still functional), or the traction control button (hold down for 6 seconds to disengage traction control and activate the tune). This way you can have the gas sipping, 15 psi factory tune when other people drive your car, and activate the Trifecta tune to jump to 20-23 psi when you want more power"

Yeah my tune gets activated when I hit the TC twice, which normally puts the car into “competitive mode” except I get about 20-22psi boost, which I don’t believe is possible with stock.
I have a couple pics, I’ll try for some more when I’m not in the garage working on my buddy’s ride.

I think you have to use Trifecta software and USB adapter cable to flash back to stock and remove Trifecta lock. You can probably find someone selling a used cable and although it may be a little trouble to pull off I think Trifecta can send you the stock configuration as they will have your VIN on file.

Anyone know of tuners in the deteoit metro metro area though? I guess with HPTuners I can have it all done remotely though, right? Like through email?
