New balt

After searching classifieds for over a year and a half, i finally found the perfect balt. 2010 cobalt ss, 35,000 miles, g85, blk, adult owned, bone stock besides the gm stage 1. Most i had seen were kid owned, torn up, over priced, not the color i wanted, not g85 and just lack of maintenance. Now i can get ride of my slow 97 civic and let the honda punks trash it out.

Well you have to be 18 to own a vehicle so all cars are adult owned......

Im just happy to have something that not everyone has like all these idiots in socal have. They act like the honda stuff is gold. Hondas are reliable, easy to work on, very forgiving and cheap. My civic is stock, dd car. Its a fad here.

Thanks! It's going to be my dd so only doing things to address stock issues like the Lcabs, Tcabs, pcv fix with powell pcv, nice quiet stainless exhaust, and few other things and thats about it. Just a quick dd for socal BS traffic and no brain drivers. No racing or track. I have motorcycles for that.

If you go that route look into the TurboXS GT 3in cat back, pretty quiet exhaust. Furthermore possibly look into the GMS1 sensors and tune, a nice little bump in power over stock without having to worry about stressing any parts

Canadia, that's the exhaust i had in mind. I was reading some of your past threads and i saw that you have trifecta. I have tuned with aem stand alone and evo scan but from what i have read, you have to borrow a vci box from trifecta. Is that correct? I just want a vci cable and a the program, that way i, or a tuner with a dyno, can do it right then and there. I have the gmpp stage 1

I know nothing about that haha, I know with trifecta you need a trifecta cable and box to modify it. My car had trifecta tuning on it when I purchased it and I immediately took it off as the car worked like ****.

Seemed fine when you drove it but the car was leaning out a ton up too and the fuel trims were terrible. I'd recommend contacting someone with hptuners and getting a custom hpTune from someone on here. I wouldn't trust any local tuners for these cars.

I had the TXS GT exhaust on my car along with a zzp catless downpipe and it was very quiet.. stock exhaust with catless is louder.

I ended up ordering the RFL and love it

Noted. Ill look into that one as well. Catless is the plan. Ill look into hp tuners. I want a tuner where i dont have to rely on the company to get a vci everytime i want to tune it. I appreciate all the help.

Talk to kmo43 for tuning. He's the go-to guy.

Just cause someone is 18, doesn't make them an adult. Look at you for example.

You don't have to be 18 to own a car. I had two in my name from when I was 15-17. They were a 67 and 71 though. May make a difference. Could have insured the 71 with liability but it was insane.

If you buy hptuners you can remote tune with kmo43. Don't know if you talked to him yet but he's good.
