New guy here

Was up everyone im new here and new to the cobalt car. i have a 2.4 SS without the supercharger! someone told me that they belive that the car has two diffierent halfs on it how can i tell what block i have and head? vin code says B 2.4 but not sure cause someone has been working it before me!!!

What are you trying to say here? If your car was made in 06 or early 07 you got the stronger internals. If it was made in 08 you have the weaker internals and you won't be able to push the power as much if you decide to boost your car. Is that what you are trying to say? You are not making any sense!

I was told from the previous owner that the head on the motor might be different then the bottom end. What I'm asking is. Is there numbers on the block that can help me identify the block and the head to see if they are different. According to the VIN code B it should be a 2.4
