Hello I'm new here I don't have a cobalt but instead have an 05 ion redline. I joined redline forums but its always an argument between themselves and not very helpful. I'm looking to twincharge my 2.0l lsj but don't know how or where to start seeing as I'm new to all off this any pics buildsheets or advice is greatly appreciated

Welcome! Go with a single turbo and leave the twincharging alone unless you are dead set on it.

Welcome to the forums. Redline, Ion, Cobalt, G5, or really anything from that generation with an Ecotec platform is more than welcome here. You came to the right place for advice on twin-charging. A couple active members are currently in the process or already have twincharged setups. Slowbalt has a twincharged 2.4 swapped base model and steelmesh is in the process of twincharging his Solstice. I'd think the first advice they would give you is to not twincharge unless you are absolutely dead set on if for some reason. If you just want your car to have great power and a responsive throttle there are easier, and some may argue, more effective ways of accomplishing that goal. Just make sure you consider all the pros and cons and I think Slowbalt would be a good person to ask about those.

It's been done before, can be done again. The disadvantage is that it is more complicated and more work compared to just a turbo or just a supercharger.

My twincharger goal is to smash Mustangs in a little Solstice; so I can't be lagging waiting big turbos to spool up against V8s on the street.
