Attachment 61734Attachment 61736Attachment 61737 Hey all,
not too new to the cobalt scene, here for info on twin charging a LSJ. Bought a 08 cobalt LT with 121,533kms for 800$, owned by a old lady who took real good care of this car. Went and bought a wrecked 04 ion redline with just over 100k for 600$. What do i need to do to swap the hole drivetrain over (motor, gear box, etc). Its stage 2. The wiring harness is the least of my issues, as ive seen on here it cant be done, which then ill go with a aem sat or whatever works. Newfoundland proud!

few people have done it, and from what i remember they were all tuning nightmares, I would either m62 it and call it a day or find another 2.2 for cheap, build it and turbo it. can probably do either one for a reasonable cost and make great power. But together will be more headache than its worth

well hopefully it comes together with minimal headache. Still buying a few parts befor i goes taking anything apart, and scraping the redline in 2-3weeks time to have it ready to put in.

They aren’t tuning nightmares. The few people with them have hadno issues with tuningthem. It’s a nightmare for someone that doesn’t know how to do it. We are currently twincharging our lsj
