Have had my 08 cobalt ss for 5 years now, always been on this website for repairs and tips. Everything has been modified on her except the turbo. Bought it with 52k, now has 115k. Dijon intake, Hahn turbo piping, forged diverter valve, catless 3 inch down pipe with full mpx 3 inch exhaust with muffler delete, lowering springs, modern performance intercooler, south bend stage 4 clutch. Also has some tune on it the previous owner had installed pushing 23psi. Of coarse it's bright yellow. Love the car but I've been rebuilding everything on this car besides the engine and turbo, lesson learned to never buy a turbo car from craigslist. Now it's no longer my daily and I can focus on it a lil more. I have no idea what power she is pushing but has to be decent cause she walked a lot of v8 cars and subarus and mazda speeds. I have a lot of money and hours upon hours upon hours of labor tied up into her so it ain't going anywhere anytime soon. The number 1 thing I like about these cars are that they are sneaky underdogs that'll surprise people who dont know about them and think they are all supercharged.

Sounds like you have it setup pretty well. I love the sound of the mpx exhaust, I also have that setup.

Yeah. She does good. Car was beat up when I got it. Everytime something broke I upgraded it. Only thing I'm waiting on now is I'm ordering all new parking brake cables. Just put the new clutch in a few months ago.. third time I had the trans out of this car. Factory clutch went at 70k, then put a stage1 in, broke in 700 miles, then the company sent a new one, put that one in. Lasted 40k and the rivets snapped again. I don't not launch or beat the car to death. This time I went all out and did stage 4 and new shifter cables and axle seals

Welcome. I'm right there with you. Tons of hours and too much money spent on my turd but when it does actually run properly it never fails to put a smile on my face. I'm already past the point of no return.

Yup. Literally rebuilt every system. Even down to new fuel lines front to back.
