Thanks for the add fella's... Howdy from the great white north. Been a long time J-Body guy owned several, finally decided to get an 06 Cobalt SS/SC.

Has 219xxxKm on it now. Picked it up for 2800$ CAD. Damn stock besides a stereo and a K&N.

Charger has a very minor pulley wobble and I can hear something grinding away inside the charger, and it feels like the throwout bearing is going on it, so Ill be putting a new clutch in it with the updated slave from ZZP, as well as the timing chain eventually for safe measure. All the Facebook groups these days have tons of parts so I picked up an excellent condition M62, unknown mileage but the rotors are in amazing shape, not a scuff on them. Besides a couple minor cosmetic issues and needing a full brake job, the car has been great.

I have done the brakes and been driving the car since I bought it, the original charger will survive the minor driving I am doing. As I am typing this the new charger is sitting beside me, I am polishing it up prior to putting it in the car.

I am extremely impressed with the engine itself, the oil has stayed absolutely golden throughout the time I have driven it. All my old L61's never liked to stay gold for long.

The only other part I need at the moment is a new passenger side door panel, so if anyone reads this and has an intact door panel with the red accenting... feel free to reply, I would pay handsomely for a near mint condition door panel.

Oh I also painted the wing black... LOL

Anyways thats the story so far, glad to be on the page, looking forward to chatting with some of you old school know-it-alls ;)

Well if anyone was curious, small update on the car, I was on my way to go finally install the new supercharger, and the flex pipe cracked LOL
Appears to be a common problem, so I got a new ZZP 2.5" Stainless Downpipe with cat.
Holy is this thing loud running right off the flex pipe, Even my old L61's werent this loud, but what should I expect for a supercharged engine.
Hopefully a buddy of mine is gonna weld it up for me in the mean time.
You'd think now would be a good time to do the charger while its sitting but my dumb ass left half my tools an hour down up the road!
Being that I am a proud igloo dweller I have to wait 2 weeks for the damn down pipe to arrive, guess Ill be switching some plates onto my truck for a little while ;)
