If you dont know what the difference is dont even think about messing with it. you need many other things besides the nitrous to make it a reliable setup on your car.

To answer your question:
Wet shot is a combo of nitrous and gas being sprayed in after the MAF. The ratio of gas to nitrous that you use depends on how big of a shot you want and what internal work you have done to support it. Wet shot is a much more reliable set up when spraying on any car cause you usualy dont require much tuning at all.
Dry shot on the other hand is spraying just nitrous into the motor before your MAF. Your computer does the math and adds more fuel to the motor to compensate for the massive amounts of air that it is now getting. This method is not as reliable and will make your car run more lean without a proper tune or larger injectors.
