Nitrous Pressure Gauges

Hello All,

So I am finally going spray and had a question about the Nitrous Pressure Gauges. I see some that show 0-30, 0-120 and 0-1600 PSI and I am not sure what I will need as I don’t want to have a gage showing more than needed, for a 5-10lbs Bottle running a 50shot

Making the order Friday still tossed up between the NOS and the ZES kit.

Where are you planning on putting you gauge? 0 to 1500/2000 is most typical to have on your tank, with is the best spot if you running haeter set up, that way you see right away you pressure jumps as you adjust you temp. If you run it under the hood be sure yuo
use one that's designed to be there, (liquid filled). If you plan on going to any drag strip
the track rules may govern that if you have a nitrous gauge on your dash that it be
electronic, meaning there are no nitrous lines running to the gauge inside the passenger area. The might look for that during tech-inspection.

Is that a Harris Speedworks setup?

Edited to make sense :P 0-1600 electrical gauge is what you want.

You need to find out if the kit you want is a high or low pressure kit. Most likely it's high pressure, so the 0-1600 gauge is what you want.

What the hell is a low pressure nitrous kit?

rcmpayne 09-18-2009 09:16 PM

i want it on my A piller in the front so a electric is what i will need.

IDK but I've heard people talk about low and high kits... but the more I think of it, that doesn't really make sense. When I fill my bottle, it's at like 900psi alone, then I use my heater to keep it where I want it (1000psi). I can't find any Nitrous gauges that are measured from 0-30 or 0-120 like the OP said either.

DynoTune bottle and auto heater w/summit racing liquid filled gauge, bit of a hack job on the carpet, I've cleaned it some since the pic was taken.

imo 3 gauge pod looks the best. i still have the bottle mounted bottle pressure gauge but also have the mechanical one as i supplied a picture for you above. here are some pics from the outside if you care about appearance.
